Returns and cancellation policies

Returns and refunds:

 

For all returns you will have 14 days after you receive your item/items to request a return and a further 14 days to return the item/items to me (28 days total after you have received your order).

Postage charges will not be refunded on unwanted items.

If an item arrives with you in a damaged condition, you will need to return the item to us, with all return costs refunded by us if the item / items are found to indeed be faulty.

Replacements & refunds will be dispatched / issued on receipt of the returned items only.

You are responsible for ensuring the goods are returned to us.

Lyddi-Grace designs will not be liable for returns that are lost in the post or lost for any other reason.

Fabrics returns:

If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, I accept returns of UN-WASHED fabrics only,  so please inspect your fabric before washing.

Haberdashery returns:

Goods must be unopened or unused and in a resalable condition.

If returns arrive in poor or unsalable condition a refund will not be offered. 

 Cancellations:

In stock orders:

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us using the form above as soon as possible. 

If your order has already been dispatched upon contact, you may return the items to us in accordance with our Returns Policy.

Pre-orders:

Pre-orders may be cancelled at any time up until the pre-order close date.

There after you will have to wait to receive your order and then submit it as a return.

FABRIC FLAWS:

I aim to catch any flawed pieces of fabric during the cutting process, but some flaws may be missed.

Marks that are on the back of fabric which can not be seen on the front, marks that are within 10cm of either side of the selvedge on the front (fabric is 150cm wide but sold as 140cm due to common selvedge flaws), or that can be hidden under a 10p coin, are classed as normal in the print process and therefore are NOT classed as flaws and will not be refunded or exchanged.

 

Anything that is outside of these norms will either be refunded or exchanged.

When you register on our website to purchase products, we ask for data such as your name, e-mail address, address, and contact details. Lyddi Grace Fabrics keeps a record of this information for tax purposes and for ensuring we fulfil our contract with you.

The only personal information we hold is what customers provide to us when they place an order on our website, sign up for the newsletter, or sign a contract.

We share it with nobody, however it is stored on relevant systems such as cloud systems, our website, Google Drive, Couriers (to pass addresses to), and accounting systems which are GDPR compliant. If we are required by law to share any information, we will check with each party concerned to ensure they are happy for that to happen. An example of this would be if HMRC requested an audit.

We store sensitive data for as long as projects are in progress and customers remain active clients. Email addresses provided for email marketing are stored until consent is withdrawn, reconsent is requested every 2 years. Information required for tax and legal requirements are held for 7 years as a requirement by law.

We keep a record of any orders you make from us, so we can help to deal with any enquiries or problems you may have in the future, and so we can ensure that any information that we send to you is appropriate. Personal data that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes.

We keep a record of any e-mail communication you send us, so we can track any problems or concerns you’ve had.

In addition to personal information, our website uses Google Analytics to ensure we are meeting your customer needs. The computer on which work is conducted on is password protected, data held in the cloud is password protected and held on encrypted systems and third-party software have their own security systems. Physical data is held in locked storage within secure premises.

The risks of a breach are minimal due to the precautions mentioned above being taken, and close monitoring is undertaken to ensure security systems are always up to date. Breaches will be identified, reported, managed, and resolved according to the ICO guidelines.

8. Colour of goods:

We make every effort to accurately portray our goods in their correct colours, but due to differing screen settings, the colour of goods may appear different in person, to on our website.

9. Prices:

All prices are charged in Great British Pounds sterling.

Prices are subject to change but are correct at time of posting. Any errors, glitches or typos are not required to be honoured.

If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail, to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether.  

If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order in respect of the incorrectly priced item as cancelled.

We accept payment via Paypal only.

Paypal payments can be made using a paypal account, or, if you do not have a paypal account, you may make a card payment via the paypal payment system.

Cash and BACS payments are not accepted at this time.

 11. Orders for Delivery Outside the United Kingdom:

We do not sell outside of the United kingdom

 12. Events beyond our reasonable control:

We will not be responsible to you for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these On-line Shopping Terms of Sale if the delay or failure arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control.
